Apple Leisure Group (ALG) is a US conglomerate specializing in tourism and hospitality, focusing on organized travel and the management of resorts and brands in key destinations such as Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East. Recently, it was acquired by Hyatt and is now part of the “World of Hyatt” network, which has expanded its global presence and increased its number of hotels worldwide.

Creating a Unified Digital Ecosystem

ALG is in a significant phase of expansion and consolidation within the tourism and hospitality industry. With its recent integration into “World of Hyatt,” the group aimed to create a unified digital ecosystem that integrates all services available to its customers during their vacations, including tours, transfers, resort accommodations, hotel information, direct communication, and management of its membership club. The main challenge they faced was designing and developing a coherent and appealing digital platform that enhances the customer experience and facilitates the management of the various services offered by ALG and its brands, such as AMResorts.

Development of Digital Ecosystems: Strategic Consulting, Functional Prototypes, and Interface Design for Hyatt

To address this challenge, O2O collaborated with Hyatt in defining and developing this new digital ecosystem. Our contributions included:

Consulting for Development Conceptualization: Through a strategic approach, we helped define the vision and objectives of the group’s digital ecosystem.
Product Definition Using Design Thinking: We utilized this methodology to identify user needs and design customer-centric solutions.
Creation of a Functional Prototype: We developed a prototype that allowed for testing and refining functionalities before full implementation.
Development of Technological Architecture: We designed the technological infrastructure that supports all integrated services.
Creation of User Flows and Wireframes: We defined how users would interact with the platform, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Interface Design for Mobile Platforms: We developed attractive and functional interfaces for mobile applications on iOS and Android.

Currently, we are also working on the development of the new native app for UVC (Unlimited Vacation Club) as part of the evolution of the company’s digital channels. This initiative ensures that ALG can provide its customers with a cutting-edge digital experience, aligned with its expansion and diversification of services.
