With the rise of Artificial Intelligence technology in the past year, we eagerly anticipated the announcements of new features that Apple would present and how they would incorporate them into their new devices this year. They did not disappoint, and we are very excited to get our hands on all these new functionalities.
Apple Watch Series 10
As usual, the Apple Watch comes with a renewed design, the thinnest yet, almost 10% thinner than the previous model, and with a screen up to 30% larger than before, making reading and writing on the device easier.
It features Apple’s first OLED screen with a wide viewing angle, and oblique visibility is improved. Additionally, it is designed to use less energy.
For the first time, it can play multimedia content such as songs or podcasts. Its battery charges up to 80% in about 30 minutes.
It includes an exclusive Apple processor, the new S10 SiP with a 4-core neural engine for fast processing of machine learning tasks and crash and fall detection.
There are also numerous new features in the most practical areas of the Apple Watch, especially in health and sports.

It is the most robust model and suitable for sports. It comes with the most accurate GPS system of all sports watches on the market. It features advancements in tasks related to training or preparing for races for both runners and cyclists, for swimming, and for trekking.

AirPods 4
With a refined design to enhance comfort, they include the H2 processor that improves audio quality. They feature personalized spatial audio that produces surround sound to provide an advanced multimedia experience.
They allow you to respond to Siri with head movements thanks to machine learning. Additionally, during calls, voice isolation eliminates background noise, ensuring clear sound.
They come in the smallest case yet, but still offer up to 30 hours of battery life.

AirPods Pro-2
This year, they are improved with active noise cancellation, enhanced microphones, and advanced computational audio, which allows for an optimal sound experience even at low volume.
They also feature adaptive audio to reduce noise based on changes in the environment. With conversation recognition, they detect if the user is speaking to lower the volume and avoid disturbing them, or if they stop speaking to resume playback at the previous volume.
This model of AirPods includes health features focused on prevention, awareness, and assistance, primarily related to hearing loss.

They are the most advanced option among Apple’s headphones and now feature personalized spatial audio to enhance the experience of listening to music, videos, or games. They come in a variety of new colors and charge via USB-C.

iPhone 16
It is designed from the ground up to take full advantage of Apple Intelligence.
As usual, it comes in two sizes: iPhone 16 with a 6.1” screen and iPhone 16 Plus with a 6.7” screen.
They include the new feature of having a customizable action button on the side, which allows you to record a voice note, listen to a song, translate a phrase, or set up a shortcut to an app.
Another milestone of this device is the camera control, which is also located on the side of the device. Through this control, you can access a menu with numerous camera functionalities. Additionally, it allows apps to implement the use of this button, as SnapChat already does.
The camera is very important in the new devices because it gives us immediate access to visual intelligence functionalities.
Since it is a device created to fully leverage the potential offered by Apple Intelligence, it needs to have a high-performance processing chip, with more memory capacity and bandwidth, as well as greater energy efficiency. Therefore, a specific processor has been created for the iPhone 16, the A18, with a 16-core neural engine. This makes it up to 2 times faster for machine learning models.
With an 8-core CPU and a 5-core GPU, it is approximately 30% faster than the iPhone 15 and requires 30% less energy.

Apple Intelligence
Apple Intelligence is based on the exceptional power offered by Apple’s latest generation processors. It applies to both the simplest daily tasks and the more complex ones, depending on the user’s personal context, adapting dynamically.
Through Private Cloud Computer, we can have much more complex generative models than what our iPhone can offer today, all without compromising our privacy. It runs on Apple servers, but no data is stored or shared by Apple, and this can be verified by independent experts at any time.
Apple Intelligence is integrated into all the applications we use daily: for example, in the photo gallery, it will help us find a photo simply by describing something we remember; or in the list of recent emails, we will see a summary of the entire content instead of the first lines.
Thanks to Apple Intelligence, a new era has arrived for Siri, with better language recognition; it can show us guides on how to perform a task on the iPhone and make interactions based on personal context, such as considering a series recommendation we received in a message when we search for something to watch.
iPhone 16 Pro
They also come in two sizes: iPhone 16 Pro with a 6.3” screen and iPhone 16 Pro-Max with a 6.9” screen. This is the largest iPhone screen to date.
The battery life of the iPhone 16 Pro-Max is also the longest in an iPhone, thanks to a larger battery size and advanced performance management.
Apple Intelligence is also leveraged to enhance the functionalities of these devices: if we record a meeting, a summary will be generated from the transcription. It will help us rewrite our notes in more professional language. Or it will find details we don’t remember where they are through our personal semantic index.
The new Pro processor, the A18 Pro, is faster and more efficient than the A18. It has larger caches to support the most demanding apps and games. It has the fastest CPU in a mobile device. Additionally, it has machine learning accelerators for Apple Intelligence and offers advanced functionalities for multimedia content.
